Lovers eyes were Georgian miniatiure keep sakes, normally made from water colour depicting the eye of a loved one. This miniature painting would then be carefully set under glass in surrounded by cold and precious gems. 
I have decided to recreate these intriguing antiquities in stunning hand cast and metallic acrylics with hand painted accents, imitation pearls, and a shiny layer of resin to give the piece a glassy look. 
 
These earring measure from the top of the stud to the bottom of the heart 7cm long and 4.5cm wide at the widest point. The stud and butterfly on these earrings are made from silverplated stainless steel.
